DIFFICULT Summer is underway again.
In 2023, the festival moved to downtown Los Angeles after being held in San Bernardino for more than a decade. Its organizers, Insomniac Events, used a combination of venues to build five stages spread across the campuses of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Exposition Park and BMO Stadium.
The country's leading electronic music event promoter organized another large-scale festival, but not without logistical headaches. Now they'll try to allay those concerns by moving to Inglewood's Hollywood Park, which covers roughly 300 acres and “offers ample space for dancing and exploration,” according to a press release shared with EDM.com.
The 2024 edition of HARD Summer will take place at Hollywood Park on August 3-4. The location is just a stone's throw from SoFi Stadium, the home of the NFL's Rams and Chargers.
“We are thrilled to partner with HARD Events to bring another festival with diverse programming to Inglewood,” said Adolfo Romero, vice president of programming and reservations for SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. “This partnership not only amplifies Hollywood Park's influence in the festival space, but also solidifies our dedication to curating global entertainment that authentically reflects our vibrant local community.”
The schedule for HARD Summer 2024 has not yet been announced at the time of writing. Prospective attendees can purchase pre-sale passes at 9 a.m. PT on February 16 before general ticket release an hour later. Official visit of the festival. website to register and find more information.
