Kelly Clarkson has about three months to rearrange her trophy case to make way for more potential awards. The 2024 Daytime Emmys will be presented on Friday, June 7, from the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
Clarkson has collected seven Daytime Emmys in the past four years. At last year's ceremony, she won both Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series for The Kelly Clarkson Show. By comparison, Clarkson has won three Grammys in a recording career spanning 2002.
Clarkson has not attended the Daytime Emmys in recent years, although she was present at this year's Grammys, where she was nominated for Best Pop Vocal album for Chemistry.
The Daytime Emmys, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), will air live Friday, June 7 (8–10 p.m. ET/delayed PT) on CBS and will be available to stream live and on- demand on Paramount+. This year marks the 18th time CBS has aired the Daytime Emmys, more than any other network.
“We look forward to our return in June as we once again partner with CBS to recognize the extraordinary and talented people who make daytime television great,” said Adam Sharp, president and CEO of NATAS.
The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and craft since 1974. In 2021, NATAS and the Television Academy jointly announced plans to realign the Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards to be organized by content genre, as opposed to with the broadcast time of the program.
The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are produced by NATAS and Associated Television International (ATI). Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are executive producers for NATAS, while David McKenzie is an executive producer from ATI.
