What is Vampire Weekend's 2024 tour?
Vampire Weekend's tour coincides with the release of their fifth album, Only God was above us, on April 5. Barring a few festival dates throughout 2021 and 2022, the tour is their first formal outing since performing in support of 2019. Father of the bride.
The Vampire Weekend 2024 tour kicks off with a record release show in Austin and a trio of appearances at festivals including New Orleans Jazz Fest, Kilby Block Party and Primavera Sound. The band will then spend the summer and early fall touring North America, playing cities including Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and New York. The tour will conclude in the city where it began, Austin, with a date at the city's Moody Center.

Phish's Mike Gordon, Maya Rudolph's Prince cover band, Princess, The English Beat, Ra Ra Riot, Cults and Billy Joel tribute act Turnstiles are set to open one or more tour dates, as are The Brothers Macklovitch (A- Trak and Chromeo's Dave-1), La Lom, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and a DJ set from Mark Ronson.
