The third annual “Is For Lovers” traveling emo festival has been announced, with Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, Yellowcard, The All-American Rejects and more among the artists performing at various stops.
“Is For Lovers” is curated by Hawthorne Heights, who are the only band that will play each of the seven locations on the 2024 festival tour. The first stop, “Lake Tahoe Is For Lovers,” will take place on March 22. June, with All-American Rejects and Movements among the acts on the bill.
Other locations include “West Virginia Is For Lovers” in Charleston, West Virginia, on July 13 (with Underoath and Thursday); “OBX Is for Lovers” on July 20 (featuring Motion City Soundtrack and Less Than Jake); “Pop's Is For Lovers” in Sauget, Illinois, on July 27 (with Thursday and Anberlin); “Iowa Is For Lovers” in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on August 24 (with Yellowcard and State Champs); “California Is For Lovers” on August 31 (with Saosin and Finch); and “Ohio Is For Lovers” on September 7 (featuring Hot Mulligan and Silverstein).

“We're happy to be back in 2024, soaking up the summer sun with these bands and fans, most of whom have been shedding tears with us since 2004,” said Hawthorne Heights singer JT Woodruff. “While each show has a wildly different feel, we think it's important to celebrate local and regional attractions on each date.”
He continued: “Is For Lovers Festival is designed to put the fan in a time machine and transport them to the most vibrant years of their lives. We try to make it an easy day in beautiful locations with bands that helped shape who they are. “Hawthorne Heights is excited to be out there, setting up tents, carrying gear, singing these songs and spending time in person with our fans.”
