Jay Markwick is a South Australian singer/songwriter who started in mid-2021 where he started writing in his spare time after a friend told him he had a good singing and rapping voice. Jae grew up listening to musicians like the Hilltop Hoods, Justin Bieber and Guy Sebastian. Jae made connections by watching local live broadcasts on the network. In his first releases he has counted over 1 million streams on Spotify. It landed on over 10,000 playlists, including the Spotify editorial “Bongo Bars”, opened for Avery Harden on his Australian tour and received international and national press support.
