I've been doing country since 2012, I think, so you know, I've been writing a lot of country songs. I've been doing a lot of things in that space for a long time, so I'm glad there's more of our culture coming and mixing and just having a good time.

Probably with the way I talk and the way I sing, I'll always be country. But I mean, what I want is to get out of my comfort zone and as long as it tells a story and makes people feel something that makes them feel at home, you can call it whatever you want. We'll see what happens.
