Hey guys, it's Tetris and welcome to the Thursday, January 25 episode of Billboard News. Let's address three things you should know about hip-hop.
Fans say 50 Cent looks like 25 Cent after the iconic rapper looks much slimmer than usual in an IG post. Users are quick to say that he is probably using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic. Well, a source told Page Six that he is not in Ozempic and that he has been on a rigorous training program for eight months. My thoughts are: just be honest. Many people are using it to lose weight now, so be proud of yourself, don't be ashamed of the game.
Meek Mill has no shame. The hip-hop heavyweight jumped on Twitter to say: “Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and more if you have 150k on the site and I like the song we can change it.” 150,000 down payment: You're charging them Nicki Minaj prices. Maybe she learned that when they dated, but does a Meek Mill verse help like a Nicki feature does?
Like Father, Like Daughter: Kanye West hopped on Instagram to share a storyboard for what appears to be a video he's working on with his daughter North West. He captioned the video: “treatment by his best friend Miss Westie.” I love their bond. North will definitely be someone we see a lot of in the future.
