Kid Cudi is gearing up to release his ninth studio album Insano on Friday — and gives fans a look at his 23-song setlist on Monday.
A$AP Rocky joins Cudi on “Wow,” Lil Yachty appears on “Too Damn High,” and Lil Wayne appears on “Seven.” Travis Scott collaborates on 'Get Off Me' and 'At the Party', which also features Pharrell Williams and was released in November.
The album also features a collaboration with the late XXXTentacion on Track 15, titled “X & Cud”. “Rager Boyz” features Young Thug, who is facing RICO charges.
Among the solo pieces on Insano are songs like 'Electrowavebaby', 'Cud Life', 'Mr Coola' and 'Hit the Streetz in My Nikes', the last track on the album. The album also features the single “Porsche Topless,” which he dropped back in June.
”
In September, Cudi announced that he was pushing back his release date Insano until January 2024 so he can “make sure everything lines up and I'll give you the best version of myself.”
He added: “I'm sorry for the delay everyone, but I'm a perfectionist. And things have to be right.”
Insano, Kid Cudi's ninth studio album will follow his 2022 LP, Intergalactic.
Last year, along with work Insano, Cudi collaborated with Scott, Skrillex, Lyrical Lemonade and Lil Durk. The old one Star Trek fan also teamed up with the classic sci-fi franchise, which resulted in a new song, “Heaven's Galaxy,” a full Cudi-Journey trade line and even become a playable character (in full USS Enterprise events) in the video game Fortnite.
