Larry David has named his favorite episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm ahead of the show’s 12th and final season.
The creator and star of the long-running HBO sitcom was asked the question by Variety during the red carpet premiere. After a brief pause, David said his favorite episode was “probably ‘Palestinian Chicken’” from Season 8 of Curb.
In the episode, the show takes on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with Marty (Bob Einstein) and Susie (Susie Essman) on one side and Larry and his new love interest Shara (Anne Bedian) on the other. Though the episode aired in July 2011, it unfortunately remains just as topical today.

Season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm debuts on February 4th. Read our review of the premiere, in which Senior Entertainment Editor Liz Shannon Miller writes, “It’s honestly fascinating to see Larry contend with moments of physical comedy that wouldn’t have felt out of place in the silent film era.”
