“I'm excited to bring the energy to Cleveland and perform at the NCAA Super Saturday Concert presented by AT&T. I look forward to supporting the growth of women's basketball and continuing to empower the entire women's community,” Latto said in a press statement.
In the music world, it's been a big year for the “Lotaria” rapper. She won a Billboard Music Award for Top Global K-pop Song in November for her collaboration with BTS's Jung Kook. The song also became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams in Spotify history.
This is hardly the first record that Jung Kook's Latto collaboration has broken, as it reached No. 3 upon its release Official UK Singles Chart, released on July 21, for the highest-charting debut by a solo Korean act. Additionally, “Seven” debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts (dated July 29). The song marked the first chart-topper for a BTS member as a soloist, as well as Latto's first No. 1.
