LCD Soundsystem will return to New York City for another local residency in November and December 2024.
The band will play 12 shows over three weekends at the Knockdown Center in Queens, with different opening bands each night. The shows, billed as the “Annual Winter Function” will also feature a DFA Records “Swap Meet” as well as a Four Horsemen pop-up wine bar. This is LCD Soundsystem’s fourth consecutive holiday residency in New York City. They previously completed a “tri boro” residency at three different venues in 2023 and played a slew of shows at Brooklyn Steel in 2022 and 2021.

LCD Soundsystem hasn't released a new album since 2017. American dreamBut they’ve been especially busy on the touring front. In addition to multiple residencies, headlining performances at festivals including London’s All Points East and Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party, and the 2023 RE:Set concert series, the band has performed over 100 shows since the start of 2022.
Meanwhile, LCD Soundsystem will headline Las Vegas’ “A Big Beautiful Block Party” next weekend and continue their 2024 Los Angeles residency from October 31 to November 10. Get tickets to see LCD Soundsystem here.
