Lil Baby was safe after gunfire erupted last Tuesday (May 14) in a northwest Atlanta neighborhood before a scheduled video shoot. According to reports, people who appeared to be filming themselves opened fire
at the scene, injuring three people who were later taken to hospital.
Local outlet 11 Alive References that filming took place in Atlanta's Dixie Hills neighborhood where Lil Baby and crew were to record a music video. Police say they arrived at the scene of the shooting just before 5pm local time in response to three people who reported being shot.
A 24-year-old man was found shot in the arm and a 27-year-old man shot in the back. A 23-year-old man was later taken to a local hospital with a neck injury.
Lil Baby was said to be in the area but escaped injury.
Officials with the Atlanta Police Department added that the people shot were not members of the team that built the set for the video, but instead said they involved people connected to the shooting, however it is unclear what that means as filming continues . research.
