The Roots have announced the lineup for Roots Picnic 2024 in Philadelphia, featuring artists like Lil Wayne, Jill Scott, André 3000 and more over two days in June.
Held June 1 and 2 at its former home, The Mann at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, the 2024 version of Roots Picnic will feature a wide range of musical artists, as well as live podcasts, DJ sets, immersive experiences and more. Completing the lineup will be artists such as Victoria Monét, Nas, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Tyla, Smino, Babyface, Adam Blackstone with Fantasia and Muni Long, Cam'ron, Wale, Robert Glasper and more.
Tickets for Picnic Roots 2024 will be available first through a Live Nation Presale opening on Tuesday, February 20 at 10:00 am ET (use access code ALUMNI24). After that, general sale will begin on Friday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster. Once tickets go on sale, you can also find them at StubHubwhere orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub's FanProtect program.
As a headliner, Lil Wayne is scheduled to honor his hometown of New Orleans with a performance with The Roots, PJ Morton and Trombone Shorty. Other highlights will include André 3000 delivering a set in support of his new flute album, New blue sunspecial collaborations between artists and more.
There will even be a stage called “Parkside Stage,” which will host a “range of curated experiential media alongside live podcasts and immersive DJ-driven experiences.” Check out the full lineup of acts and artists below.
