Lyfta major player in the rideshare market, proved that someone on its marketing team is definitely a part of it Beyhive in a classic way. After another rideshare, the social media account offered discounted rides for fans who went Act II: Cowboy Carter listening party, Lyft upped the ante in a major way.
Since we're a neutral party, we won't name the other rideshare company, though it won't be hard to figure out as this story continues. As it stands, the company in question offered 16 percent off rides for fans on X (formerly Twitter) who wanted to attend a listening party for Beyoncé's latest album, Act II: Cowboy Carter.
Lyft, considering the offer's responses under the tweet from the other company that read “crumbs left,” a nice little jab we've seen before between major companies via their social media accounts.
After a fan suggested Lyft sweeten the pot, the company responded by offering a 50 percent discount for those going to the aforementioned listening parties.
Now how's that for customer satisfaction?
While we don't know if the other company will respond yet, for now, Lyft is the grand champion of the people AND the pedestrians, but the real winners are the Beyoncé fans who get to hear Queen Bey change the culture for once. again with her latest album.
The singer recently suggested that while country music influences Act II: Cowboy Carter, this is yet another Beyoncé album. We heard it. We also have to score a win for Lyft's marketing team.
To take advantage of 50 percent off with Lyft, use this code: SPAGHETTI24.
Check out the reactions to the playful back-and-forth on X and don't forget, Act II: Cowboy Carter falls on Friday, March 29.
