Machine Gun Kelly, Yungblud Revisit 'I Think I'm Okay' With 'Sad Version' Five Years Later

MGK returns to his own Hotel Diablo era five years later. On Friday, the musician released a deluxe edition of the acclaimed LP, adding “sad versions” of fan favorites “I Think I'm Okay” and “Glass House,” as well as a new track, “El Pistolero.”

To accompany the album overhaul, MGK also released a video for the reworked “I Think I'm Okay” featuring Yungblud. (The original track also featured Travis Barker.) The video captures behind-the-scenes footage of the pair of musicians backstage at a show, celebrating the track going platinum, and a photo shoot from the time. MGK also sings the new version while lying on the grass.

MGK also put the deluxe Level 13 Edition edition of Hotel Diablo, which features new song “El Pistolero” and hears him sing in Spanglish, Young Thug and Lil Duke with “Bullets With Names,” sad versions of “I Think I'm Okay” and “Glass House” , and a display of “5:3666.” He also added a live performance of the song “Floor 13”.

Mgk was originally released Hotel Diablo — with songs like “El Diablo,” “Candy” featuring Trippie Redd and “Glass House” — on July 5, 2019. He followed the project with a US tour and a graphic novel of the same name two years later.

This year, MGK and Redd teamed up for a 10-song EP titled Genre: Sadboy in early June. He also released the singles 'Sun to Me' and 'BMXXing' last month. He celebrated the tracks by performing at CMA Fest's Spotify House, where he performed a cover of the Chicks' “There's Your Trouble” and joined Jelly Roll for a duet of “Need a Favor” and “My Ex's Best Friend.”

MGK's last album arrived in 2022 with Mainstream Sellout. He fell too tickets for My Downfall in 2020.
