Machine Head have unveiled new song “These Scars Won't Define Us” featuring In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth. The collaborative song comes a couple of days after the announcement of a North American tour in 2025 that will include all four bands.
The spring outing begins April 5 in Machine Head's hometown of Oakland, California, and runs through May 10 in Kelowna, British Columbia. General ticket sales begin today (November 15) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

With the many musicians contributing to the song “These Scars Won't Define Us,” Machine Head calls the song a “Wu-Tang Clan-level thrash collaboration.”
An accompanying lyric video (see below) identifies each band's contribution as the song plays. The voices of Robb Flynn of Machine Head, Anders Fridén of In Flames, Andrea Ferro and Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil and Trevor Phipps of Unearth can be heard singing the anthemic lyrics of the tune.
The standalone single also marks Machine Head's first new music since their 2022 album. Of the Kingdom and the Crown.
