Martin Garrix and Timbaland, the production powerhouses behind some of the biggest dance and hip-hop hits of the last decade, join forces for an exclusive live discussion at Amsterdam Dance Event 2024, the world's leading electronic music summit. the world.
The two will take the stage together at Amsterdam-based Felix Meritis for a special live ADE Pro discussion, conference organizers announced today. They are set to host a “creative conversation for music professionals and artists alike,” according to a press release.
Garrix and Timbaland are long-time friends and collaborators. They joined forces to work on new music in 2019 before meeting the following year to host a special roundtable, “The Evolution of Our Sounds,” during the first virtual edition of ADE due to the impact of the pandemic.
“I don't know if you've ever worked with or seen Martin in the studio, but that guy is a genius,” Timbaland said at the time.
Other ADE Pro keynote speakers revealed today include Grace Ladoja, founder of Nigerian music platform and festival Our Homecoming; and influential French house music DJ and producer Laurent Garnier, who will join the owners of London's legendary fabric club to present a series of special mixes in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Attendees of the ADE Pro 2024 program can also experience the conference's new “matching experience,” which connects them with representatives from major agencies like UTA and CAA, as well as a host of esteemed dance record labels, including Armada, Spinnin' and Helix.
