For 22 seasons and running, American Idol revealed which contestants advanced to the competition's most elite tier, the top 10. This season is no exception, with the names of the final 10 being announced Monday (April 20) during the evening's live broadcast on ABC.
For more than a decade, Advertising sign was first in line to sit down with each finalist and conduct his first in-depth interviews. Earlier this week, Advertising sign sat down with 14 top performers to talk about their formative years Idol experiences to date and how they envision their future.
On Sunday (April 19), the top 14 songs performed by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees (the Rock Hall's Class of 2024 was also revealed during the episode by Ryan Seacrest and Rock Hall inductee Lionel Richie). At the end of the two-hour episode, Jordan Anthony and Nya were eliminated from the competition.
On Monday night, the theme was Billboard No. 1 Hits, a theme first introduced in season two and again in season four. Two more trips ended at the end of the episode, with contestants Roman Collins and Jayna Elise leaving the show.
Below, Advertising sign goes deep with the top 10 contestants of season 22, as well as the four contestants who were eliminated in the last few days.
To quote Ryan Seacrest, here they are, in no particular order. (Well, that's not strictly true, as we're presenting them alphabetically – first the newly formed top 10, then the four singers eliminated in the last two days).
