Nandi Bushell recently performed a 10-minute drum medley in front of 20,000 people at London's O2 Arena, and the YouTube sensation has now shared a clip of the full performance.
Bushell toured as part of the young voices Departure from the youth choir who have just concluded after playing to 600,000 fans in sold-out stadiums across the UK.
Backed by a huge choir and a tight house band, Nandi kicked off the medley with The Who's “Won't Get Fooled Again,” which enthused the huge audience.
From there, Nandi seamlessly strung together rock hits from various eras, segueing into The Killers' “Somebody Told Me” before launching into Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Metallica's “Enter Sandman,” and, of course, , “Everlong” with its drums. -against opponent Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters.
The medley also included snippets of songs by Arctic Monkeys, Queen, Coldplay and Led Zeppelin, showcasing a variety of moods and playing styles from Nandi, who performed his own drum solo for the end of the medley.
Nandi, 13, continues to surprise us after being named ConsequenceRookie of the Year 2021. He has played with artists such as Tom Morello and Brian May, and previously joined Lenny Kravitz for a performance at the same O2 Arena when he was 9 years old.
