We'll Dance Again will include survivor accounts and “information recorded by both victims and Hamas”
A documentary about the October 7 Hama attack on the Nova Music festival in Israel, titled We'll Dance Again, will be released on Paramount+ this fall. The film will be “told through the eyes of more than a dozen survivors, many of whom videotaped their experiences as the massacre unfolded,” including “information recorded by both the victims and Hamas,” according to a press release.
“The human cost of what happened on October 7thu in Israel and the war in Gaza was devastating. We cannot tell everyone's story. This film is about innocent young people who are forced to fight for their survival,” said Susan Zyrinsky, president of See It Now Studios, in a statement.
The project is directed by Yariv Mozer and produced by See It Now Studios with SIPUR, Bitachon 365 with MGM Television and HSCC. The doc is also co-produced by BBC Storyville, which will air the film in the UK, and Hot Channel 8, which will air it in Israel.
Between 3,000 and 4,000 attendees attended the open-air festival in Israel's Negev desert, about three miles from the Gaza border, which was timed at the end of Sukkot, a weeklong Jewish holiday. Hamas fighters stormed the festival and Israeli towns near the blockaded Gaza Strip in a surprise attack.
The war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas is entering its eighth month since a Hamas offensive in October that left 247 Israelis hostage and 1,143 dead. Since then, more than 35,000 Palestiniansmostly civilians, were killed as Israel launched a counterattack across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian health authorities.
