PnB Rock was tragically shot and killed during a robbery while dining inside a Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant, leading to the arrest and sentencing of Freddie Lee Trone to 31 years in prison. New footage of the incident has surfaced and suggests PnB Rock was set up by a pair of patrons who possibly tipped off Trone and his teenage son who carried out the robbery and shooting.
YouTube channel True Crime News shared a video of footage from the fateful day when PnB Rock, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen, and his fiancee Stephanie Sibounheuang visited Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles in South Central Los Angeles in September 2022.
True Crime News Anchor Ana Garcia can be heard explaining the events in the surveillance video, which shows a person greeting Allen while exterior footage shows two people allegedly planning the crime. Trone's son drove up and fired three shots at Allen as restaurant workers, a security guard and patrons fled the establishment.
Dashcam footage obtained by police showed the vantage point of officers responding to the crime scene, with detectives questioning Sibounheuang about the shooting. At that time, Sibounheuang is informed that her fiancee did not survive the gunshot wounds.
Sibounheuang took responsibility for the incident after posting on her Instagram Story feed that she was at the restaurant, including geotagging the location.
Some observers believed it was the reason the robbers were able to corner Allen. However, Garcia shared that according to the timeline of the planning that was happening outside of the robbery and Sibounheuang's Instagram post did not match. The plot was hashed out long before she shared the location, absolving her of any responsibility according to True Crime News findings.
We will share a link to True Crime News' mentions but won't embed the video in the body of this post because of the disturbing details inside. However, clicking here will take you through the story, but please proceed carefully.
