NGHTMRE, Jon Casey and Pauline Herr kicked off 2024 with a bang after joining forces for “In Your Eyes,” a mind-blowing effort that arrives via the former's Gud Vibrations label.
“In Your Eyes” showcases each artist's best skills in the studio, allowing their combined sound to flourish and become something totally unique. Herr's haunting voice, a formidable producer in her own right, draws listeners in before stunning them with the menacing first pitch of the arrangement. Casey and NGHTMRE's relentless bass production once again takes center stage in the song's spellbinding final moments, where the song ultimately falls completely on its head.
This is not the first time we have seen at least some of this power collide. Casey and Herr left their mark on EDM.com's list of the best songs of 2023, getting a place thanks to his fascinating trap song “Toxic”. Adding NGHTMRE's virtuoso sound to the mix is simply the icing on the cake.
