Nicki Minaj is not a fan of Megan Thee Stallion's new song “Hiss.”
In the fiery new single, Meghan apparently takes a swipe at Nicki's husband, registered sex offender Kenneth Petty, while referencing Megan's Law, a federal law that requires law enforcement to have information about registered sex offenders.
“These hoes ain't mad at Megan, these hoes are mad at Megan's Law/ I don't really know what the problem is, but I guarantee you don't want me to start/ Bh—h, you a. y, never finna check me/ Every chance you get, bet your weak ass ain't on me,” Stallion raps on “Hiss.”
Shortly after the song arrived on Friday (January 26), Minaj took to Instagram Live to preview an unreleased track responding to Meg, referencing the Houston artist who was shot in the leg by Tory Lanez in 2020. shooting ended last year with the Canadian ram headed to prison.
“Bad b—h she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b—h fell, I said get on your good foot,” Nicki rap on the quote.
The “Super Bass” rapper smiled at her slick wordplay and spun the venomous track a few times before taking aim at Megan for her rapping ability during Live: “You got three Grammys and you gotta learn how to you rap to the beat. and be comfortable in the music.”
The victory added on Instagram Live, “You've been growing 30-year-old tea since this man was a 15-year-old kid. Growing a 30-year-old tea because no man will ever love you and lay on your dead mother.” (Megan's mother died in 2019.)
Minaj didn't stop there. He spoke further on the matter during a chat on Friday on the Stationhead radio app. “You're letting everyone get thrown under the bus,” Nikki is heard saying of Meg in one video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “You let DaBaby get thrown under the bus, Tori, your best friend, your mom… You better go impersonate your mother and apologize. This is disgusting.”
Nicki has also shared several posts on X, calling Megan a “Disgusting servant” and Writing, “Megan's Law. For a free beat you could hit #Meganraw.” Minaj added in another tweet that she “doesn't condone 'bullying' but called out Stallion “pathological and manipulative liar”, claiming it “uses ghostwriters and is still USEFUL”.
“Hiss,” co-produced by LilJuMadeDaBeat and Bankroll Got It, is the second single off Megan's third album. The new track comes two months after she kicked off her new era with the rocker 'Cobra', which served as her first independent single since leaving 1501 Certified Entertainment. “Cobra” peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became her eighth Top 10 hit on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (No. 10).
