Phish are the latest band to grace Las Vegas’ state-of-the-art new venue The Sphere, and they’re inviting fans at home to get in on the action by livestreaming each show of their four-night residency.
The residency begins with an opening performance tomorrow, April 18th, and runs through the weekend with shows on April 19th, 20th, and 21st. Phish fans not making the trek to Vegas will be able to watch the performances in 4K and HD via the band’s livestreaming platform, Livephish.com.
The band has promised that each show at The Sphere will feature a different setlist and different corresponding visuals, making each performance a unique event. The jam band has collaborated with The Sphere’s audio engineers to design an immersive sound mix and utilize the venue’s 167,000-speaker sound system. This will also mark the first time a show is livestreamed from The Sphere.
Phish’s Las vegas shows may be going down this weekend, but they have a full slate of summer tour dates ahead — including a four-day Phish-curated fest called Mondegreen in Dover, Delaware.
