Going to a P!NK concert is turning out to be quite an experience: at one point, a fan is throwing her mother's ashes on stage; the next, the singer gets into a fight with an anti-circumcision protester. The bizarre headlines continued during P!NK's Australian tour on Friday, when the singer was forced to pause her Sydney concert after a woman went into labor in the pit.
P!NK spoke as on-site paramedics tended to the woman and helped escort her out of the hearing. “Is Alecia or Alex being born?” she joked, referencing her real name, Alecia Beth Moore. “I feel like we shouldn't be watching. Let everyone give her her privacy!
“Wow, 'Our Song', that's the one that did it?” P!NK commented. “I wouldn't have called that one! I thought it would have been 'Let the party begin' or 'I'll never dance again.'”
She then congratulated the mom-to-be and said, “That's exciting! I don't even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It will be great! “You're going to do great.”
What else does PINK's tour have in store? American audiences will be able to see for themselves when the singer launches her “2024 Summer Carnival Tour” with special guest Sheryl Crow. Tickets to all upcoming P!NK shows can be purchased here.
