Earlier this month, Steve-O announced that he would celebrate his 50th birthday by having Post Malone get a penis tattoo on his face at Bonnaroo. Well, it actually happened.
A video posted by TMZ shows the two meeting before Posty's headlining performance on Friday night and turning the backstage area into a makeshift tattoo studio. The tattoo was designed earlier this month, but Post had the honor of wielding the needle himself, starting “with the balls,” at Steve-O's suggestion.
The final product looks like… well, a tattoo of a penis on someone's face. It's a bold statement, even for Steve-O, who explained that the reason he did it was to “find out how long he lasted before he tapped and lasered it out.” He plans to keep it up at least until his 2024 tour, which kicks off this Friday in Huntsville, Alabama, and runs through the end of August (get tickets here).
As for Post Malone, his Bonnaroo set featured a special appearance by bluegrass superstar Billy Strings. Next, he will headline the Osheaga Festival in Montreal and play a country music set at Outside Lands in San Francisco. Find tickets to their upcoming shows here..
