Post Malone will release his first full-length country album later this year
Post Malone kicks off his country era with new single “I Had Some Help.” He debuted the song, which features Morgan Wallen, live at Stagecoach last month.
Post Malone and Wallen's inevitable summer hit is a big country-pop tune in the vein of many of Wallen's singles. The song is about a relationship falling apart and knowing it wasn't just one person's fault. “I can't do this mess alone,” they sing in the chorus. “Don't pretend you're not helping me get that bottle off the shelf.”
“I Had Some Help” serves as the first preview of Post Malone's first full-length country album, which will be released later this year. During his Stagecoach debut in April, he performed country covers with guests Brad Paisley, Sara Evans and Dwight Yoakam.
The Grammy-nominated star has already had a busy year. She made an appearance in Jennifer Lopez's musical film This is me…Now along with Jane Fonda and Keke Palmer as part of an astrology board. He was also featured on two of the biggest albums of the year: Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter and Taylor Swift Department of Tormented Poets. His “Fortnite” duet with Swift is currently No. 1 on the Hot 100.
