Rezz and deadmau5's collaboration reached new heights over the weekend as they closed out Tomorrowland's Freedom Stage.
“If you had told me that when I was 16, I would have laughed and said there was no chance,” she told X before the festival.
The duo’s camaraderie was palpable on stage as they performed together under their collaborative alias, REZZMAU5, at the world’s largest electronic dance music festival. A stunning visual production complemented their hypnotic performance, which brought the audience’s energy to its peak.
Reflecting on the dreamlike performance after the concert, Rezz couldn't help but praise his continued collaboration with deadmau5, a predominant icon of electronic music.
“Just five years ago I wrote in my notebook 'make a song with deadmau5' and I remember when I wrote it, it seemed unrealistic, even though my own career had already achieved success; it was a distant goal that I intended to strive for,” he wrote. “It's crazy to think that we've made and released two songs and played together live. It makes me believe that everything I want is within my reach.”

Rezz and deadmau5 will perform together at HARD Summer 2024 festival in August. Other headliners include Disclosure, Zeds Dead, Subtronics and SOFI TUKKER.
