Sabrina Carpenter loves Cillian Murphy so much she made her talk nonsense.
While gearing up for the Oscars festivities on Sunday night (March 10), the pop star sang Murphy's praises and said Vanity fair what he would do if he ran into the Oscar winner Oppenheimer starring in an afterparty.
“If I see Cillian Murphy, I'll probably leave the party. I'll probably leave with him,” he quipped. “I am not I'm going to leave with him, I'm just going to leave at the same time as him, so I can see where he lives. So I can follow his car.”
Carpenter graced the red carpet for Vanity Fair's Oscars party with a different Irish Oscar nominee: Barry Keoghan. Keoghan – who recently starred in “Murder on the Dancefloor” – has been revived Saltburn — got a best supporting actor nod for his turn The Banshees of Inisherin at the 95th Academy Awards, while Murphy triumphed at Sunday's ceremony for his towering performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's helm Oppenheimerwhich was also crowned best film.
Although Carpenter and Keoghan didn't pose together, they did walk the carpet at the same time. The steady progress of their joint public expenditure has reached a fever pitch this month. During Taylor Swift's Eras tour stop at Singapore's National Stadium on March 4, fans captured footage of Carpenter – who opened for all six shows in Singapore – running into Keoghan's arms after she finished her set. Last night (March 3), fans were also treated to footage of Keoghan's glowing reaction to Carpenter's freestyle “Nonsense” outro. Additionally, in photos of the two stars at the Oscars afterparty, Keoghan is seen wearing an Eras tour friendship bracelet that reads the singer's first name “Feather.”
