Tyler's Dust-Stained Tease
Tyler, the Creator is back with a new era and a new album, CHROMACOPY. The continuation of the greats of 2021 CALL IF YOU ARE LOST is just around the corner, it will arrive on October 28 and, as a preview, the enigmatic artist has shared a new song, hasn't he?
Honestly, we're not sure. Tyler certainly liberated somethingan 84-second video titled “ST. CHROMA”, but for now it is unclear if it is a full song, an introduction to the album or simply a preview of what is to come. Whatever it ultimately turns out to be, it's a pretty compelling showcase from the ever-evolving rapper.

Tyler, the Creator is no stranger to high-concept music. Whether its early days were controversial, the broad appeal of flower boyor the narrative in love with Igoreach of their projects has their respective visual and sound vibrations. Even CALL IF YOU ARE LOSTwhich was relatively simpler than the projects that preceded it, had continuous narration by DJ Drama spread throughout the tracklist. for the next CHROMACOPY, “STREET. CHROMA” seems to hint at another new world.
With whispered verses over grainy, monochromatic images of Tyler (?) in a mask, “ST. CHROMA”, like any good teaser, comes with more questions than answers. Although he speaks like he's angry in a library, Tyler's bars are confident, pointed, and seem like the ambitious beginnings of a protagonist who's about to go through a big rise and fall. Then Daniel Caesar comes in to wrap things up before it all suddenly comes to an end.
What does all this mean? Some Dedicated fans have theories.but no one knows until the 28th. Until then, we're on the edge of our seats.
