Taylor Swift feels grateful after the return of the Eras tour, which resumed immediately after a two-month hiatus with three shows in Miami.
And after completing her stay at Hard Rock Stadium, the pop star took to Instagram on Tuesday (October 22) to thank her fans. “The Eras tour is back and the 3 Miami crowds we just got to play for were on a new level,” Swift wrote, sharing a series of photos from the shows. “With only 5 cities to play before it's over, I knew I was going to enjoy every moment on that stage, but the sheer passion of these crowds really blew my mind.”
“It rained (a lot) on the 1st and 3rd nights, and so the movie drama began,” the 14-time Grammy winner continued. “I really missed him during our break. Mass amounts of happy people who are really living in the moment and seem really carefree for 3.5 hours.”
The Eras tour's trio of concerts in the Sunshine State were indeed unforgettable, with rainouts closing the dates and Florence Welch – “my mysteriously talented friend”, as Swift described her – aptly going with the artist 'Anti-Hero ” on stage every night to sing. their Department of Tormented Poets collaboration “Florida!!!” Swift also debuted a new one Reputation jumpsuit and several new dresses during the screenings, of which she wrote on Instagram, “I have some new clothes and it's always nice when the public notices 😁 You guys are the best.”
“Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who followed online,” her post concluded. “4 more cities to go and the next one is: New Orleans!”
As Swift pointed out, the Eras tour only has a few more stops — NOLA, Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver — before it wraps up in December. The journey first began nearly two years ago in March 2023 and saw the musician travel across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia, alongside openers Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams, Paramore , Sabrina Carpenter and others.
The entire trip has also seen millions of fans from around the world come out in droves to take part in friendship bracelet trading and three-hour scream-singalongs, which Swift highlighted during her first performance in Miami. Calling the audience one of the “wildest, most passionate, craziest, most loving crowds in the world,” Swift gushed, “The intensity at which you sing every single one of these songs is amazing.”
