The Isley Brothers reach the top of this week's Chart Rewind. We go back to 1969, when the Isley Brothers reached number one with their hit. It's your thing on what was called the best-selling rhythm and blues singles chart. Now called Hot R&B, the hip-hop songs spent four weeks at the top and were their first No. 1 on any Billboard chart. On the Hot 100, the song peaked at No. 2 and remains the group's highest-charting song.
