The Killers are without a doubt one of the most important rock groups of the 21st century. With great hits like “Mr. Brightside,” “Somebody Told Me,” “When You Were Young” and more, the Las Vegas band continues to captivate audiences with their energetic live shows and always catchy numbers. Like their monumental debut in 2004, hot rampageturns 20 and preparing for a hometown residency to celebrate, Flowers revisits “All These Things That I've Done,” one of the album's tracks that has particular meaning to him.
Flowers talks about the spiritual meaning of the song and explains how it addresses themes of guilt, faith and forgiveness. Ultimately, it is the sonic representation of Flowers' struggle to balance his Mormon beliefs and his pursuit of rock 'n' roll. He then touches on the cut's influences, referencing bands like U2 and David Bowie, and teases The Killers' upcoming residency in Las Vegas (get tickets here).
