Tokyo Police Club announced an extensive 2024 North American farewell tour and shared their latest single, featuring double A-sides “Just a Scratch” and “Catch Me If You Can.” stream the tracks below.
“The Final Tour” kicks off August 1 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and will stop in cities including Vancouver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, New York and Washington, DC. It will conclude with a previously announced four-night run at Toronto's HISTORY from November 26-29. Born Ruffians, Hollerado, Monowhales and Good Kid will provide support on select dates.

In January, Tokyo Police Club announced they were calling it quits following their final hometown performances in Toronto, and the double A-side single serves as a parting gift to fans. Speaking of “Just a Scratch” and “Catch Me If You Can,” keyboardist Graham Wright said the songs are “full of everything that made me fall in love with this band in the first place.”
Wright continued: “I hear parts that we could have come up with in the garage back then, and parts that we could never have dreamed of until now. I listen to all the music we ever loved and all the music we made and, most importantly, I listen to US, the four of us, the hive mind that is TPC, with all its ideas and enthusiasm.”
High school friends Dave Monks, Greg Alsop, Wright and Hook formed the Tokyo Police Club in the mid-aughts. Their debut EP, A crime lesson, released in 2006 through Canadian independent label Paper Bag Records. After breaking out with his 2008 debut album, elephant shell, and 2010 BiteTPC released two more studio feature films: Force field and 2018 TPC.
