When Travis Kelce heard Taylor Swift sing “I wanna find you in the crowd to hide from you,” he took it literally.
During Swift's Indianapolis stop on her Eras World tour on Saturday (November 2), eagle-eyed fans spotted The Kansas City Chiefs end up in the VIP section of Lucas Oil Stadium, along with Swift's mom. In a fan catch TikTokKelce was seen dancing with his girlfriend's mom in the Department of Tormented Poets track “So High School,” with the fan turning around saying an audible “oh my god” to his moves.
Later in the show, Swift repeated an ad-libbed verse during her performance at midnight “Karma,” saying that “Karma is the Chiefs guy, coming straight to my house,” as she has done numerous times throughout her Eras tour.
Back to a November 2023 podcast episode New HeightsKelce talked about his reaction to the first time Swift traded the verse. “Yeah no, I had no idea [she would do that]”, he said then. “Well, I might have had a little idea, but it definitely still shocked me when I heard it come out of her mouth.”
The sweet dance came hours after a heated exchange with his brother Travis and New Heights Co-host Jason Kelce on Saturday, where the retired Philadelphia Eagles player was accosted in the street by a fan who called his brother a homophobic slur for dating Swift. In footage that has since gone viral, Jason approached the bystander, grabbed his phone, threw it to the ground and repeated the abuse at them.
