Brazilian dance music superstar Vintage Culture has announced her long-awaited debut album, Promised land.
The 16-track album has been in the works for a period of four years, according to a press release shared with EDM.com. The project features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including NoMBe, Goodboys and influential indie rock band The Temper Trap.
Vintage Culture also released the album's third single, “Weak”, a collaboration with Maverick Saber and Tom Breu that follows “fallen leaf” and “come come.” With its irresistibly catchy and soulful sound, the song is already a crowd favorite as Vintage Culture continues to play it in their DJ sets.
The genesis of “Weak” dates back to 2020, an introspective time of vintage culture during the height of the pandemic. He and Saber had previously worked together in 2019 on a remix of the latter's hit song “Decelerate” with Jorja Smith.
