The musician unveiled her most recent LP, Charm, earlier this month
Clairo took the stage at The Tonight Show to perform her recent album cut “Juna” alongside her live band and a horn section. The musician, Claire Cottrill, offered an intimate, sweet performance of the song, which appears on her new LP, Charm, much to the delight of host Jimmy Fallon.
Cottrill dropped Charm, which follows 2021’s Sling and 2019’s Immunity, earlier this month. Produced Leon Michels, Charm was cut at Allaire Studios just outside of Woodstock, New York (where she also recorded Sling) and Diamond Mine Recording in Queens. She shared several singles ahead of the release, including “Sexy to Someone” and “Nomad.”
In September, Cottrill will perform residencies in her home of New York as well as Los Angeles, each lasting for five evenings. She’ll spend the Fourth of July in London, performing at the Artists for Aid benefit alongside Mustafa the Poet, Blood Orange, Ramy Youssef, and others. Proceeds will be given to the War Child U.K.’s response plan in Gaza and Sudan.
After Cottrill wraps the residencies, she will head out on tour in support of Charm. She’ll kick off the North American tour in Dallas on Sept. 27, following several nights throughout Texas. She’ll perform dual nights in major cities like Seattle and Boston, stopping at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall on Oct. 23 and 24. The tour wraps on Nov. 7 in Atlanta.
Presale begins on July 23, while general onsale starts July 26. $1 for every ticket will be donated to support women’s reproductive rights.
