Drake and Dennis Graham enjoyed a father-son weekend outing for a night out at a Toronto jazz club. The duo arrived at the Reservoir Lounge sometime after being invited to join Shane Philips' set.
With the Band of People at their backs, Drake and his pops sang T-Bone Walker's 1947 blues hit,
“Stormy Monday”. “They call it a stormy Monday/ But Tuesday's just as bad,” Drizzy growled before handing the mic to his dad.
“And Wednesday's worse/ And Thursday's so bad,” sings the elder Graham.
Philips was honored to have Drizzy and Mr. Graham on stage. “These guys are on my mic, but it's okay. Peace and love are part of that,” he said.
Philips later took a selfie with the 6 God wearing a million dollar grin from ear to ear. “It's not often I let people on my stage but #drake showed up at my show with his dad and guess what… his dad could sing so I pulled them both up. If my dad was alive I would want the same,” he wrote.
Fans were treated to an impromptu performance by Drake and his father. “It's crazy how the father's voice and the sons voice are different but sound incredible together,” one person commented. “It's interesting how well put together a spontaneous moment could be so perfect… you know. Like Drake is 6 god. And Dennis produced the creation… so on and so forth.”
Drake has been spending a lot of time with his family recently. He celebrated his son Adonis' seventh birthday with one SpongeBob-themed birthday party and weekend. “Big Don”, Captioned by Drizzy the photos with his mini-me in the background of “Bikini Bottom”.
