What to wear in a white tie Marriage
Whit tie is a much less commonly requested garment for most modern weddings, this dress code calls for what you would imagine being worn to a royal wedding or diplomatic affair. Tuxedos are mandatory and are expected to include tails and a vest and must be accompanied by formal shoes, white or gray gloves, a bow tie and a formal shirt. Dresses should be floor-length dresses that are elegantly accessorized with jewelry to go with the clutch. A shawl or dress jacket is an optional combination for formal dresses in colder weather.

What to wear to a semi-formal/casual wedding
Semi-Formal / Casual: Semi-Formal or Casual it is the broadest of all dress codes. This means that when choosing an outfit, you should pay close attention to the location, temperature and venue to choose clothes within the right palette and theme. Suit requires pants, shirt and tie. Matching or mismatched suit jackets are not required but may be worn in lieu of a tie. Attire is variable and can include any less formal dress length, structured jumpsuits or stylish two-piece sets. This dress code is more like what one might wear to church on a regular weekend, not during the holidays.
