Shakira scored another No. 1 hit on the Latin Pop Airplay chart after debuting the Cardi B-assisted “Puntería” at the top of the chart this week. Part of Shak's latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloranthe pop song with flirtatious lyrics finds the two artists singing about a man who's no good to them, but whose game is so strong they've fallen for him.
Additionally, “Puntería” — also the set's lead single — opened at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales and No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart.
Her new jingle continues to cement Shakira's record position in the Advertising sign diagrams. With 24 songs, the Colombian actress has the most No. 1s on the Latin Pop Airplay chart among female artists.
Shak's first No. 1 chart hit came in 1996 with “Estoy Aquí,” which topped the chart for four weeks. Her first longest-running title came in 2001 with “Suerte,” which spent 14 weeks at No. 1. Twenty-two years later, she topped the charts for 14 weeks with her collaboration on Karol G's 2023 hit “TQG “.
Other notable No. 1 hits include “La Tortura” with Alejandro Sanz. “Lomba?” “La Bicicleta” with Carlos Vives. “Chantaje” with Maluma. the Bizarrap produced 'BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53?” and Manuel Turizo-assisted 'Copa Vacía' — all spent more than 10 weeks at the top.
