One of The first major music festivals of the year are just around the corner as we gear up for Coachella 2024.
As always, this year's Coachella lineup sees some of the biggest names in music. Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator and Doja Cat are this year's headliners, while No Doubt is also featured in one of the festival's high-profile slots. Coachella 2024 will be No Doubt's first performance together since 2015. Other big names on this year's lineup include Peso Pluma, Blur, J Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert, Ice Spice and Khruangbin. This year will also feature a brand new stage, the Quasar, which will host extended sets from dance majors such as Honey Dijon b2b Green Velvet, Michael Bibi, Rüfüs du Sol and more.
But, as with any music festival of this caliber, there is a lot of planning and preparation for us as attendees. Below is our complete guide to everything you need to know about Coachella 2024, including where to buy tickets, how to pack, and what to expect once you're there.
How to buy Coachella 2024 tickets Online
Coachella Weekend 1 passes are sold out on the festival's website, but you can still purchase them through resale platforms like Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster and StubHub — all of which guarantee delivery of real tickets before the event. Right now, StubHub is showing the lowest prices with Weekend 1 passes going for just over $400.
Coachella Weekend 2 tickets are still available through the festival Website, but, as of this writing, they are actually cheaper through resale platforms. Stubhub, for example, currently has general admission tickets for Weekend 2 starting at $375, compared to $499 on Coachella's website. VIP cards are also significantly cheaper through resale sites right now.

What to bring to Coachella 2024
Packing for Coachella is no easy task as you will need quite a few supplies, but you will also need to comply with safety regulations. Here are some of our festival essentials – which they all adhere to Coachella Rules.
Carhartt Mini Backpack
Backpacks are allowed at Coachella and do not need to be clear, but they cannot be larger than 18″ x 13″ x 8.5” (but who wants to carry a big backpack?). If you need a compact backpack to carry your essentials, get this mini pack from Carhartt. Inside the durable, water-repellent exterior is a surprisingly spacious main compartment to store all your necessities.
Anker PowerCore Fusion Power Bank
A dead phone can ruin any day of the festival (especially if you're coordinating with friends) and it happens all too often. Make sure this doesn't happen by getting a reliable power bank, like this PowerCore Fusion from Anker. It stores 10000 mAh, which is enough juice to fully charge an iPhone about twice. It's also very compact and has a USB-C port if needed.
CamelBak Eddy+ Water Bottle
Metal water bottles and liquids are not allowed when entering the festival grounds, so you'll want a good plastic bottle to fill in and stay hydrated. We love this Eddy+ water bottle from the pros at CamelBak, which features a lightweight, durable design and a waterproof cover. You also have a few size options so you can choose the one that fits easily in your bag.
Knockaround Classics Polarized Sunglasses
Knockaround is known for its affordable, rugged polarized shades, which is exactly what you want for something like Coachella: Your eyes will be fully protected from the sun, but it's not the end of the world if you lose the shades, which is less than $30.
Turkish Smyrna beach towel
You can't bring big picnic blankets to Coachella, so we recommend this thin Turkish beach towel for cleaning up or laying on the grass. It's highly absorbent, dries quickly and folds into a lightweight, portable package.
Vibes high fidelity earplugs
Earplugs are essential if you want to go to bed every night after the festival without ringing in your ears. We love these Vibes earmuffs for any gigs or music festivals as they effectively reduce sound but still allow you to hear and enjoy everything. In addition, the clear edges of the earplugs make them very discreet.
Where to Stay for Coachella
Getting Coachella tickets is the easy part. Finding a place to stay can be difficult.
Your three main lodging options for Coachella are home rentals, hotel rooms, and camping. House rentals through services like Airbnb are probably your best bet, as you can find accommodation close to the festival grounds, although they are quite expensive (unless you split the bill with a group of friends). Hotel rooms are sparse in the area, which leaves the option of camping.

Coachella has a few campsites on site with options for car camping and tent camping. Head here for more details on camping sites and buy camping passes on StubHub. The festival also offers lodges at Lake Eldorado (kind of like a “glamping” option). Some of these Lake Eldorado scenes are still available here.
Coachella 2024 Food, drink and experiences
Music performances and art installations aren't the only things worth looking forward to at Coachella.
Top restaurants and chefs from around the country are set to provide pop-up services at the festival, and there will even be a few speakeasy bars sprinkled throughout. Coachella is partnering with “some of LA's most popular, Instagram-friendly and buzzing restaurants,” per the release, bringing some LA staples like Prince Street Pizza, Sweetfin, Tacos 1986 and Ronan's to keep festival goers fueled.
Outstanding In The Field also returns this year, offering multi-course dining experiences from award-winning chefs in Coachella's VIP Rose Garden. Get Outstanding In The Field tickets here.
Of course, there will also be plenty of exciting beverage options for Coachella's 21+ guests. Throughout the festival grounds you'll find plenty of bars and speakers, including Cocktails & Dreams and the Craft Beer Barn.
