Morgan Wallen recently broke Garth Brooks' record for most weeks spent by a country album at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart when Wallen's One thing at a time returned to the top of the Billboard 200 (dated March 16), earning 19 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the chart. Those 19 weeks surpassed that of Brooks Ropin' the Wind album, which previously held the record for 18 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 in 1991-92.
Wallen's record success with One thing at a time made possible by the enduring popularity of the album's biggest tracks, including “Last Night,” “You Proof,” “Thinkin' Bout Me” and the Eric Church duet “Man Made a Bar.” Meanwhile, Brooks' Ropin' the Wind The album was fueled by hit singles such as “The River”, “Shameless”, “Papa Loved Mama”, “What She's Doin' Now” and “Rodeo”.
