Ye and Ty Dolla $ign bring their news Vultures 2 album in Utah.
On Saturday (August 3), Ty announced on Instagram that he and Ye – formerly known as Kanye West – will present theirs Vultures fan following in Salt Lake City on August 9th.
A specific venue for the SLC date had not been revealed at press time.
The announcement comes on the heels of the duo Vultures 2, which hit streaming services early Saturday morning. The sequel arrives about six months after the first Vultures album, which topped the Billboard 200 chart for consecutive weeks. This marked the first time Ye held the top spot for more than a week since 2011 Watch Throne.
Before the new Vultures drop, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign have announced a pair of listening experience parties in South Korea (August 23) and Taiwan (August 25). The duo is scheduled to visit South Korea's Goyang Stadium for one Vultures event, but details on the Taiwan venue and ticketing status are not yet known. LeGrand is handling promotional duties as promoter for both events.
Ye and Ty's recently announced “listening experiences” follow previously announced events planned in Italy. Earlier in the year, the couple revealed they would be dating Vultures 1 for fans at the Milan Forum (February 22) and the Bologna Unipol Arena (February 24). They also held listening events at Chicago's United Center on February 8 and New York's UBS Arena on February 9.
Kanye and Ty are still riding high on his success Vultures anthem “Carnival,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March.
Ty Dolla $ign said Advertising sign in July which V2 completed, but awaiting a proper disposition.
“We got all the songs. It's basically like, “How can we get it there? How can we go bigger than the first album?' the rapper said. “Some people will probably expect you to make the exact same sound. But that sound is already out.”
