To conclude its biggest and most impressive season to date, Breakaway will land in San Francisco on October 25-26 to present its Bay Area edition.
Breakaway Bay Area will take place at the famed Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in association with Another Planet Entertainment over Halloween weekend and will feature performances by 21 nationally known artists and three local artists. Tickets are on sale now.
Headlining the two-day festival are RL Grime and Marshmello, while artists including Control Freak, INZO, Koven, RemK, Kumarion and Wreckno round out the lineup with some serious bass. Blanke will also perform under his ÆON:MODE alias, while JOYRYDE and Habstrakt will perform a special B2B set. Brazilian dance music superstar Alok, as well as Anabel Englund, Wax Motif and EDM.com Class of 2024 pioneer DJ Susan will bring their house music energy.
Breakaway Bay Area will close out the 2024 season for the brand that established it as the most influential traveling festival in the U.S. Over the course of the year, Breakaway expanded into three new markets and hosted nearly a dozen festivals across the country.
“We’re excited to be returning to the Bay Area for a third time and ending this season on a high note at such a legendary venue as the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium,” said Breakaway co-founder Adam Lynn. “We love working with Another Planet Entertainment and are fans of everything they do and the community they’ve created in San Francisco. This is the first year that Breakaway has come to us on Halloween weekend, so our team is thrilled to provide a unique experience for our fans and everyone who participates in this event.”
“Halloween has a rich history in the cultural fabric of San Francisco. We look forward to building on this tradition with this year’s Breakaway,” added Bryan Duquette, founder of Another Planet Management.
