The melodic techno superstar today released “Pictures of You,” his latest masterstroke on Afterlife. Driven by love lyrics and a pulsating beat that gets under your skin, the song is a chilling recognition of the futility of holding on to a broken connection.
Like Anyma's many melodic techno anthems of yesteryear, the new single isn't a dancefloor hit, but rather a midnight drive down the deserted highway of lost love. It's an electrifying track that chills you to the bone, not with aggression, but with the stoic acceptance of letting go.
“Pictures of You” arrives alongside a spooky visualizer designed by Afterlife mainstay Tobias Gremmler, which you can check out below.
