After a typically busy week of construction in the Nevada desert, citizens of Black Rock City are gearing up for another life-changing experience at Burning Man, which kicked off today.
Although the event failed to sell out for the first time in a decade, anticipation remains high for all the amazing art, music, connections and experiences to be had on the beach this year. The same goes for BRC’s beloved Sound Camps, many of which revealed impressive lineups.
Perhaps the most anticipated sound camp programming comes from Galaxywhich will debut for the first time at Burning Man 2024. The team behind the prized Mayan Warrior art car, which tragically burned down in 2023, shared a heartfelt message to the Burning Man community in early August before releasing a stunning line up with Carl Cox, Adan Ten, RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ set) and more. Galaxyer will be located around 2:30 and Th from 4-8pm, and will be serving mezcal-infused drinks at their relaxed bar.
He Maxima The art car also has big plans for Burning Man. This impressive art car, which features a deer head with fire-shooting antlers, will host a large number of participants this year.

The playground This year, he’s turning up the heat again with a top-notch lineup of music on two stages: the Dune Lounge and the Arrival Stage. The packed lineup includes Vintage Culture, Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami, Diplo, Carl Cox and, of course, some very special surprise guests.
If you’re looking for a proper Burning Man show, look no further than Opulent Temple, who have been bringing big sound to the playa for over a decade. Their 2024 lineup includes Infected Mushroom (live PA and DJ set), Mau P, Max Styler, and many more. further.
They will also be hosting a second stage called Opulent Chill for a more ambient experience. Opulent Temple is located at 2:00 and Esplanade this year.
One of the most legendary art cars on the beach, Robot Heart, shared a teaser post with blank spaces filled in by the artist, accompanied by each of The 10 principles of Burning Man to build excitement for their highly anticipated 2024 lineup. Only time will tell what acts they have booked, but DJs including Anyma, Adam Ten, Vintage Culture and more have shown their support in the comments of the post.
Be sure to keep an eye on Questionmark CampBRC’s iconic bass music camp. They recently posted and dropped a packed lineup that included Griz, who may be temporarily coming out of his hiatus for a rare beach performance alongside Diplo, Louis The Child, FLY, and more.
