His first album was in 2018 Byron Messiah who immediately left his mark on the musical universe. Messiahhis latest album, No love, released by Xtekk/Simple Stupid/Geffen Records reached #8 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. The full length yielded a huge hit “Talibans” and the Billboard 100 charting “Talibans II” ft. Burma Boy. This song is established MessiahHis powerful songwriting and inventive rhythms. Although his music includes some of the characteristic braggadocio of dancehall, Byron takes a more introspective approach, focusing on his pain and projecting his singing voice, creating a hybrid style the artist calls “dancesoul.”
“Talibans” is a laid-back masterpiece of ballroom grandeur. MessiahHis voice is soft and full of emotional energy. His rhythms carry a Caribbean elegance that is both wonderful and unique. The entire atmosphere is rich with enchanting textures. His vocals are boldly hypnotic with a propulsive edge. Although the rhythm is full of grooves, Byron'His lyrics are sinister and full of dark scenarios. This is the beauty of the “Taliban”. It's easy to feel the exciting musical touches, but dig deep and there's a menacing vibrato. Messiah he knows how to combine both worlds.
“La La” ft. Suarez continues Messiahacoustic attack. Once again, the pace is brash and full of tension. The track is from Byronhis next album titled Sad & Famous. The beat is mesmerizing and the piano backbeat adds a monstrous tone. The collaboration is bold. Suarez completes Messiah perfect. The song has a spicy vibe with a commanding harmonic elegance. The heartwarming and soulful melodic new single comes along with an establishing music video Byron as the leader of a band of rebels in a post-apocalyptic landscape.
Byron Messiah will be a dominant force in the near future. He has already built his base and once his new music comes out, he can easily conquer the current reggae arena. His mix of dancehall, R&B, hip-hop and Afrobeats is sound and on the way to global stardom. Just be ready for his explosive attack.
