Marsha Ambrosius sets up shop for one night only with Bulletin board at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City tonight — but you don't have to be anywhere near Manhattan to tune in.
It includes songs from her new album Casablanca and beyond, the nine-time Grammy nominee's appearance at the famous jazz club will be broadcast live on Bulletin boardYouTube channel at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT on Monday night (Sept. 9). tickets are also available to see the show in person buy online.
The event comes amid New York Fashion Week, which began Friday and runs through Wednesday. It is also part of a week of festivities Bulletin board2024 R&B Hip-Hop Power Players Megan Thee Stallion, Teezo Touchdown, Offset and more were honored at a party in Times Square on Thursday night.
In an interview with Bulletin board earlier this year, Ambrose spoke about Casablancawhich he made with Dr. Dre. “This project was so specific,” he said in June. “And there are so many other gems in here that I don't want to spoil because you have to hear them over and over again. Each piece is like an Easter egg with gems inside.”
The 11-track album marks Ambrosius' first since 2018 Naila and features creative collaborations with Focus…, Erik “Blu2th” Griggs, Dem Jointz, Phonix and DJ Khalil. “I didn't realize how long it was before he looked me in the face,” he added in the interview. “My daughter Nyla is 7 years old now. In the time that's passed, it's just been life and love with me now as a wife and mother.”
