Ditto delves into how he initially discovered The real world just when he was beginning to break away from his parents' musical palette. “That was probably the first record where I really thought about 'sound,'” she recalls. “I think that was the first record where I thought, 'I'm starting to understand this as an adult.' This is not only attractive to me.' He started to make me understand why I liked other music and why [those songs] It made sense to me.”
