Lady Gaga was seen pushing the hands of the clock down LG7 a few points ahead on Thursday (July 18) when she gave her Little Monsters the latest, most exciting update on the highly-anticipated 2020 sequel Chromatica.
“Just me in the studio — happy as ever making music,” Gaga wrote in an Instagram post, in which she was seen wearing a black jumpsuit accented by black shades as she tossed the metal sign in hand while standing behind a microphone. a recording studio. The series of three photos included another in which Gaga appeared to be singing and one of her sitting behind the mixing console deep in thought.
After a series of emojis – black heart, black shades, lips, musical notes – Gaga's post added: “Feel so grateful, heart is at peace. It's like meditation. I can't wait for you to hear what I'm working on.” The post got an immediate, enthusiastic reaction from Kesha, who commented, “Feed us mother!!!!,” with Gaga responding with a shout-out to her fellow pop star's new single, writing, “Just looking for a joyride 🖤🖤 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤.”
Gaga has been building anticipation for her seventh album since February, when she posted some similar studio shots along with the clarification, “No, I'm not making a rock album.” This denial came along with a photo of Gaga sitting on a daybed in front of a window strumming an electric guitar, with a vocal microphone in front of her. A week ago, she posted photos of herself hard at work playing a keyboard in the studio, as well as photos in January of her vocals being re-encoded, which may have fueled fan speculation that she's leaning into her rock side.
The curtain was pulled back a bit more in June when Gaga said Drag Race stars Sasha Velor that she's been focusing on music lately in a chat about Gaga Gaga Chromatica Ball concert doc. “I've just been in the studio all the time making a lot of music,” Gaga told Velor in the since-deleted post. “It's just this incredibly huge experience that I feel so lucky to have. I'm excited for Monsters to hear where I'm at now and reconnect on this level.” The Color ball The movie also dropped something of a mega-teaser in the message that flashed at the end of the movie: “LG7 GAGA RETURNS.”
Gaga – who recently wrapped up her Las Vegas Jazz & Piano residency – hasn't made any official announcements about the release date of her next album yet, but the one thing we know for sure is that she'll appear as Harley Quinn in Joker: Folly à Deux alongside Joaquin Phoenix when this sequel hits theaters on October 4.
